For a new thread......
Think he'll turn it around this year? He actually won one at the end of last season so here's hoping he finds his putting stroke again!
He's my ONLY reason to watch golf................................plus I'm hoping to get a "Women of Tiger Woods" calendar

That would have to be one of those daily ones where you peel a page off everyday?

Yes he's starting out slowly but surely he's regained his swing I thought he was back when he finished 4th in that Masters tournament with his trademark fistpump shown in the papers.

I think age is catching up with him. Not that he's to old, just more like his body is getting beat down and he's hurt more than he's ever been. That's the toughest part about getting old!

You can almost see the fork sticking out of his "almost another sponsor" Nike shirt.
Jack's record is safe. He's done.

Didn't have a good day the last day so finished 2 strokes back.
Next event at Pebble Beach a week from today.

True, but I think there is still enough talent there to get back to #1. Reading about what people are writing about his game, it seems to be getting very close to what it was. Plus he's healthy for the 1st time in 2 years.
I think the competition has improved lately so he may never dominate like he did, but he will win a good number of turnies yet. Not sure about majors, but he'll win his share.

This. It's a combination of him losing a lot of his confidence and the rest of the world catching up. When he came on the scene, we hadn't seen such raw power on the course with the exception of John Daly. Now there are dozens of guys who can hit it 310 off the tee and smash an 8 iron from 190. The new generation golfer is ridiculously long.

He'll never get back to what he was but he's probably got 8-10 years to get to Jack

The most important factor is that his competitors no longer fear him.

True, but he still needs four majors to tie Jack, five to top him.
4 or 5 majors is a great career for a golfer. There is a lot of work ahead of him.

Read today that a survey was done on the most "hated" athlete in the US. Vick edged out Tiger Woods for the honor.
Just goes to show that many women don't mind being the "other" women but they get pissy when they are NOT the "other" women!
Plus, people still like dogs a lot! (Dogs often times is the answer to why there are "other women")

I'd rather watch Jack and Arnie....
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Posted his lowest closing round EVER yesterday, a 62 but still lost by 1 stroke.........I still think he's going to start putting things together more consistently here shortly.....
