That was an impressive performance by Kyle Busch last night in the Budweiser Shootout. He survived several spins, including an intentional from Jeff Gordon, and still, with no drafting help, perfectly timed a pass coming in to the tri-oval to beat Jimmie Johnson by a bumper.
I'm not a Kyle Busch fan, but mad props on that race.
Also, kudos to NASCAR for getting the superspeedway package back to competitive racing. That two-car draft from last year was not very entertaining.

I lost some respect for Kurt last year. He sort of proved how much of a dick he is in real life. Dr. Jerry Punch is a real decent guy. Shit like this is unnecessary:
Eehh, who cares. He spoke his mind. If he is an ass, at least he is not fake.
How was your pub crawl yesterday? I ended up getting wasted and have a massive hangover today, but it was worth it.

I was heading to the range, so I only did the samplers at Dogfish. They had a new one to me called Noble Rot. Meh. Also had some Palo, Chicory, and 60. I let the buzz wear off on the way to Evo (got you and the Russian a little sumpin sumpin there too), which is only ten minutes from the range.
Oh, and 93, I wish I could have been there with ya.

Wait a minute... where was I? You were doing a Sussex brew tour? How was the new batch of Sprung at Evo?

I'm in Sussex just about every weekend. It was more a pit stop than a brew tour.
I also was picking up "souvenirs" for Grizza and Vidav, who expressed an interest in Delaware beers. Evo was right on the way, as the range is in Mardela Springs. I didn't try anything there.

Trivia: Did you know Evo is moving?
They've been trying to move for a year. They guys said they had a place picked out, just didn't have the money. The plan was to move a copule miles south which unfortunately puts them in MD.
Yep. Delaware loses a good brewery. They're standing up a new brewery/pub in downtown Salisbury. Can't blame 'em though. They've seriously outgrown the Delmar facility. Heck, in the dead of winter, they had 50 people easily in that tiny little tasting room.

Sucks for us. It's really not much further to Salisbury, but I don't see myself making the trip every weekend I'm down like I do now.

I haven't looked up the address, but getting in/out of Salisbury can suck. They'd be smart to build it as close to the 13/50 interchange as possible.

Aren't they at night? I need Gordon to retire, I'm getting tired of rooting for 24, but I can't abandon ship until he calls it quits. Plus I just can't find a driver to cheer for. Can't jump on JJ's bandwagon. I had thought about Logano, but I just can't root for that orange car. Maybe Bayne in that classic 21 car.

I'll always be a Jr. fan, but it's not easy rooting for a guy that never wins. I'm also a closet Tony Stewart fan. Always liked him. He's the closest thing to Dale Earnhardt Sr., other than Kyle Busch, who I just can't root for, driving that POS Toyota.
