"your avitar" as you like to call it, is available to the general public on panther nation. Its not yours, its public domain, just like all these avitars people have quit using. Do you have any kind of copyright?

I was using Cappy's Avatar on Panther Nation because there were only 8 choices and they were all Panther related and I didnt want a panther avatar.

Cappy asked me to quit using it, so I did and switched to their gay border war logo... haha

Um, lakesy. You can get any picture on the Internet, crop it and use it for your avatar. And, if you weren't such a cvnt at times, one of our skilled guys might just make you a clever one like Ralph did for me long ago.

You don't have to use other people's. It's simple. I would never use someone else's avatar because I respect their identity on these boards. People see you and JaBBerJaws using mine and it loses its time-honored equity.

No, Grizo, it was definitely Ralph. He did it in the very early days of my tenure at AGS. I loved GrizGrunt and, if it was him, I'd-a credited him for sure.

Originally, I was using just the pic of the pirate cat and I asked Ralph to put something in representing my "talker" persona. So, he put in a microphone and made the mouth move. Also, for those who remember very early in the history of the "Catvatar", there was a bikini-clad chick dancing front of me from left to right. Ralph did that, too.

Where you may be confused is the fact that GrizGrunt made numerous anti-Conk animations for me, including a Rush Limbaugh parrot and a fat referee waddling in and throwing a flag, things I used way back then to skewer Conks.

We got an email from the EWU AD asking us to take theirs down last year as we were "using" university images without permission. Then, a new board theme was adopted and headers were removed minus the board logo.

Chris and I were the only ones that knew about the email from the AD, and in no way shape or form was I responsible to tell you guys that. It was handled between the administrators and a solution was devised.

If they are owned by EWU, or anyone for that matter, it is theirs...assholeishness? possible I sold some electronics on Ebay a couple years ago and I was too lazy to unpack them and take pics so I just grabbed some off of Google Images. Little did I know that I would get 3 emails about removing said images because they were copyrighted with someone. I didn't notice the little Trademark in the corner. I said sorry and would do so. So, remove the auction, unpack the stuff, take pics, and re-auction the stuff. What a hassle, but I should have just done it right the first time.
