JFC you just don't get it.

I get it fine, im an NDSU fan and will get attacked no matter what, weather its a normal discussion or not, thats really clear reading this board. No Lakes we have NOT brought National Relevance to FCS and I never in any post said we did, NDSU has had a pretty good run for being so new to the FCS world and that cant be denied, I think and remember i do not speak for lakes but I believe he means NDSU brought FCS to a different audience, Minneapolis. Before we jumped there was NOT a radio station in the cities giving any airtime to a FCS team, now our games are broadcast there, Paul Allen on KFAN regularly has bits about NDSU and gives lots of love, that is a boost in a pretty large market especially with NDSU winning in MN twice that has opened the eyes of the Strict B1G crowd, then it was found to not be a fluke when USD another FCS team comes in a beats MN also. People now know whats going on and more realize its not DII, which sadly most still think FCS is DII. again I cant say for sure if lakes mistyped or he is delusional but I think he meant just what I posted.

I won't flame you, this is a good post. NDSU being FCS AND winning the Chipper brought some TV/Radio to that area. That is good. But reading some of your breather-en's posts FCS was non-existent before NDSU showed up. NDSU is the cream of the crop and no other program can hold a light to its fans/stadium/traveling base/revenue/tailgating/etc... That is what folks have a problem with. When they interject their **** into every thread and put slams on other programs and give out tips and hints on how a program/university should be run it irks folks.

Only 1 FCS school is given a shit about nationally, and that is App State based entirely off of one game in 2007. 99% of the college football fans couldn't tell you that ASU won three straight titles...or what state ASU is in. That isn't a slam on NDSU, that is the fact about being FCS...hell, that's the fact about being anything other than a BCS conference.

I post over on your board panthternation and there are some good posters that I have a good chat with. Then there are some that say "what the hell are you doing over here"? I just like to talk FCS FB with other fans in our conference. Then lakes and JBB come on board and totally put a bad name out for all NDSU fans. NOTHING is wrong with that. You should be proud. Hold your head high. But when there are no other, (TTBF, GIl, and a few others don't be mad I cannot remember at this second) Bison fans to put in their and those that are here have given up trying to correct JBB/Lakes, what else does anyone have to go on?

Thanks Grizz, and I realize this is some major thread drift, but the same stuff keeps happening, like above I posted about beating MN Twice and it didnt take 5 minutes and someone comes and posts that MN is that bad....I realize they are not good, but jesus people had virtual orgasms for FCS teams beating worse non BCS teams but we get zero credit. I'm not here for a pitty party, and you all can bash Lakes , JBB, Mpls all you want but it would be nice if the new guys (fresh blood) NDSU posters get a chance to not be cornered into defense right away and be allowed to post their OPINIONS without getting jumped. If not then the mods should just block all NDSU fans and stop allowing them to register.

When folks jab Montana fans about fucking sheep, hey it happens now and again, we don't get pissy, just give it back in turn. It is in love. When someone has to attack where you live or some old wives tale, it is a show of respect.
