It appears that Presby. no longer is playing at Tenn. Tech on Sept. 8th, but now is playing at Georgia Tech on Sept. 8th

Does Presby drop their Sept. 1 home game w/Brevard, and travel to Tenn. Tech that day? If so, Presby would then have only 4 home games.......

I hope things can be worked out. Tenn. Tech got hosed in 2011, wound up playing only 10 games.

Cal Poly's game at Weber State was originally scheduled for Saturday Oct. 6th has been moved to Friday Oct. 5th to avoid a conflict with the LDS General Conference, scheduled for Oct. 6-7. This is Cal Poly's first Friday game since 1962.

UCA is not playing Texas St this year. Bobcats released their schedule and the Bears are not on it. Don't think that game was ever scheduled.

I like this move, but most likely I'll be hunting that weekend anyway, too bad Weber always schedules home games on opening elk weekend

There is a men's session of conference on Saturday night, and most LDS men and young men will choose to go to conference over a football game, so for attendance this move makes sense. BYU and Utah St have played on Friday night forever for this same reason. Only bad thing is it conflicts with high school games.

It is a great schedule, it really sets up NDSU nicely going into conference play but it wasn't cheap.

200k...ouch. Time for home and home games...at least if a team backs out you get some cash for a replacement. I guess the more games you win (especially at home) the more expensive games get.

UC Davis schedule - Azusa Pacific moved from Saturday, Sept. 1 to Thursday August 30. I'm not sure why but I don't think it has anything to do with Mormons.

Aug. 30 Azusa Pacific
Sept. 8 at San Jose State
Set. 15 at South Dakota State
Sept. 22 at Cal Poly (Battle for the Golden Horseshoe)
Sept. 29 Weber State (Oktoberfest)
Oct. 6 Montana State (Homecoming)
Oct. 13 at Idaho State
Oct. 20 at Northern Arizona
Oct. 27 Portland State (Parents and Family Weekend)
Nov. 3 OPEN
Nov. 10 at Eastern Washington
Nov. 17 Sacramento State (Causeway Classic)

See you in the near future. No one misses the trip to North or South Dakota - just not very easy to get to those places from California. On the other hand, GWFC would have been great if we ever ended up with all four Dakota teams - lots of great rivalries.

Thunderbirds Schedule has been officially released:

8-30 -- At Utah State
9-8 -- At California
9-15 -- New Mexico Highlands
9-22 -- At Portland State*
9-29 -- Montana State* (HC)
10-6 -- Sacramento State*
10-13 -- At Montana*
10-20 -- Weber State*
10-27 -- Eastern Washington*
11-3 -- At North Dakota*
11-10 -- At Northern Arizona*

Total of 8 FCS games, one D2 and two FBS games with one possible win over Utah State, think we are going to have to win our 7 required in the Big Sky :twocents:

I am sure you guys are looking for revenge after we won at your house last season. You guys always play us tough in either venue of course we haven't beaten you at home so we are looking to stop that streak...good luck this year!! :thumb:

Those two FCSs may come back to bite you. If SUU is laying their playoff hopes on going at least 7-1 in BSC play, you're likely in trouble. You have Montana in Missoula - always difficult - and MSU - the 2nd playoff team from the conference from last year, though you have them at home. You also have a trip to Portland in there, which will be a difficult one. SUU definitely has the tough BSC schedule rotation this year, having to go through UM, MSU & EWU. Add in there Sac and PSU and its a daunting task. I can't remember, who did the conference line you up with as your "rivalry" teams?

I noticed both SUU and UC Davis scheduled Montana State on their homecoming. Not sure that's a good schedule decision. Big Sky teams often have their highest home attendance numbers when they play MSU or UM. Therefore, schedule another game for homecoming and have 2 games with decent attendance numbers.

Also not sure it's wise to schedule a homecoming game you're likely to lose.
