Wolves getting delisted
Time to get your hunting stuff out and get your tags for these pests.
BILLINGS - Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said Friday he was upholding a decision by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to remove gray wolves in the Northern Rockies and the western Great Lakes from the federal endangered list.

Personally I think this is a terrible idea.
I'll use Deer Lodge as just a small example for a minute. We have ranchers who are retarded enough to let their cattle roam free through National Forest land, and bitch about their herds being killed by wolves. I have absolutely no sympathy for them, not one tiny shred. If you are going to be so naive that you don't think they will be eaten while roaming with no boundaries in the wolves habitat, then go screw. Now, if the wolves were wandering down into the valley and doing the same, then sure, you have a point about wanting to get rid of them. But that's not the case.

Re: Wolves getting delisted
I heard on the radio that wolves would remain protected in Wyoming.
Oooops, I went back and read the link. I see my little nugget of info was already in there.

If you read that, you'll notice I was using just Deer Lodge as an example. Not the state as a whole.AZGrizFan wrote:You sure about that last statement, Spanky?Willie wrote:Personally I think this is a terrible idea.

Well, fortunately it's not "As Deer Lodge goes, so goes the State of Montana".Willie wrote:If you read that, you'll notice I was using just Deer Lodge as an example. Not the state as a whole.AZGrizFan wrote:

Re: Wolves getting delisted
That oughta make the ranchers happy. Now they can take them out instead of watching them eat their livestock without being able to do anything about it.

You want my guns? Come take them.

Re: Wolves getting delisted
we'll see how long this lasts before they end up back on the list.
hopefully that won't happen, but based on what i've been reading, that's what the ranchers seem intent to do.

I'll work up a brine solution recipe to keep them juicy and tender during cooking. Sounds tasty.Wedgebuster wrote:They really ain't that bad, steamed then slow grilled with just a tad of Sweet Baby Ray's!!
