That may be true about his career, but what he said has been said ever since football was invented. It's called an exaggeration. People take things too literally nowadays.

I'll agree that it was over the line, but 95% of what he said in that audio was pure coach speak. I been telling people for years that if football fans REALLY knew how the game was approached from a locker room perspective...it wouldn't be a popular as it is now.
