I'm not completely sure - I think we're around 60 but it could be the max.dbackjon wrote:You guys already up to the full 63 schollies?Hambone wrote:UND is playing Texas Tech on Sept 5, 2009. Should be a barn burner.....

Additionally Chuck South just added USF. Second year in a row we play two FBS teams.bigSfan89 wrote:Charleston Southern U. opens our season at FLORIDA,, yes,, yes, the Bowl series national champs. I have heard that FLORIDA has a decent QB and a not too shabby defense, and remember they have home field advantage. I think CSU might fly under their radar. We have a good bunch of Florida boys on our team, hope they enjoy the their time in the sun. I predict that CSU will score at least 10. I won't speculate on their numbers. Go Bucs!!!

For some reason, my computer decided to post this message 4 times.
As most know, in lieu of a by week, JMU will be starting it's season on Sept 12th vs Maryland.
I know this is a big payday for FCS schools, but I've always thought of these games to be more beneficial or detrimental to the FBS team. It gives them an "easy" win that gets all of the rust off for both teams and potentially gives the FBS team a win that makes them bowl eligible in the end. I feel like that first game win for the FBS team helps build momentum for them. Look at what happens when you lose that game... Michigan. I don't know if you can attribute their demise to their loss to app st, bad coaching, recruiting, changing coaches or a combination of all of the above... but I guarantee you that loss to app st made recruits think twice about their decision to go to Michigan (if they had legit offers elsewhere). Or perhaps I'm just blowing all of this out of my arse.

I'm sure they'll put a 70 spot on us before half.
Three that should never have been scheduled.
