RIP Moose Skowron

First Major League Player I ever met, along with Gary Gaetti. Spoke at the 1983 American Legion World Series Kick-off Banquet with Gary Gaetti. It was a small gathering at the Fargo Legion and Moose was the main speaker. Afterwards he sat in the corner of the bar and told stories of the great Yankee teams of the late 1950's and early 1960's. Stories of how Billy would help Mickey in the window after curfew, and once Mickey was inside, Billy would get caught. I remember calling him Mr. Skowron and he said call me Moose. Was one of the regulars at the Roger Maris Golf Tourney.
