I'm really trying to understand this, a team forfeits because the other team has a 15-year old girl playing second base? Cmon, show me in the Bible where it says anything about men playing only against men? What the hell are they doing out there in the desert????

It is a FUNDEMENTALIST Catholic School - ran by priests that broke away from the Catholic Church in the 60's because they thought the Church was getting too liberal.

Disgusting. They're well within their rights to do this under the rules of the league they are in, but that doesn't mean it's the RIGHT call.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

OK - I've grown up in an Irish Catholic household & never heard of any of this garbage. What other "beliefs" are they jamming down these kids throats? Is Jim Jones Jr. running things??

It's the breakaway group led by Archbishop Lefebvre that rejected Vatican 2 - there was an uneasy association with the Vatican until Lefebvre realized the movement would die with his death, so he consecrated 4 new bishops in the '80s and promptly got himself and the 4 bishops excommunicated for creating a schism.

No reports of pedophile priests though...

Not sure - just that they rejected Vatican II from 1968

So the Our Lady of Sorrows players are doomed to a life of never getting to second base with a girl.
