Fresneck wins WAC title...

...with a 4-3 win over Sac State in 13 innings this afternoon. FSU had to beat Sac twice in a row to win.

SH is NOT a happy camper. But as SD so wisely notes, this is a young Hornet squad with no projected graduation losses, so the future is bright.

Congrats on a great season, Hornets!

EDIT: Make that FEW BIG graduation losses.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Can't be too upset when we were selected to finish last and win a WAC Regular Season Championship. We lose 5 seniors, almost all of which I believe were contributors. Coach Christiansen will no doubt continue to build the program.

For someone that demands respect for women's athletics.....they sure does demean those institutions he doesn't like.


Very un-Godly of him really. Would Jesus treat those universities like that?
