Well, in any event, they have pretty loyal fans, considering their perennial mediocrity and location in SoCal.griz37 wrote:This is the Kings 3rd straight year in the playoffs.Grizalltheway wrote:

Dodgers draw well, too. Proves nothing about ditzy LA fans' knowledge of sports.Grizalltheway wrote:As did the fact that LA has regularly sold out their games since 2002, without having a single playoff appearance until this year.bluehenbillk wrote:

And there hasn't been a pro football team in LA for quite some time.

Actually I've been to a few Dodger games in LA & I think that's more of an urban legend - especially them leaving early.
On the other hand, why would you want to leave early - Dodger Dogs are simply the best ballpark dog you'll find anywhere, hands down.

And here we are going to Game 6. This is the big one for the Kings. Pressure is on them. They can forget about winning Game 7.CAA Flagship wrote:I see the Devils winning in Game 5 in NJ. The big game will be Game 6 in LA. If the Devils win that, they will win Game 7 as well.

Quick gave up a free-be which proved to be the difference in game 5. This could be interesting.CAA Flagship wrote:And here we are going to Game 6. This is the big one for the Kings. I can deal with LA choking a 3-0 lead, if George Clooney suffers.

It’s hockey, I don’t think anyone in LA would care too much if it were to happen.Ivytalk wrote:I can deal with LA choking a 3-0 lead, if George Clooney suffers.

Game 6 tonight. If Jersey wins, the Dobermans will start warming up for the "screw the pooch" line.93henfan wrote:Jersey evened it up? That's pretty impressive.CAA Flagship wrote:

Trying to figure out who to pull for in LA vs NJ/NY is like trying to decide how you want to be executed, and the only choices are to have Rosanne Barr or Rosie O'Donnell sit on your face.
