I love the sign at the VA hospital in Fargo that says...UND Parking. I don't see any NDSU parking in Grand Forks. Hmmm.

Why would NDSU want parking in Grand Forks? Why would anyone want anything to do with Grand Forks for that matter?

Right, but they're both still called Miami. And it's easier to get them mixed up than UND-NDSU. Happens all the time (used to live in Oxford, believe it or not....)

It is easy to mix them up, but FWIW it's Miami University (Oxford, OH), and University of Miami (FL), officially.

According to the Capital One cup, a hockey championship banner (20) is worth 1/3 of a FCS football championship banner(60). So by getting the FCS Championship banner you can exchange it for 3 Hockey banners.

Actually UND has had title droughts before. UND went from a title in 1963 to a title in 1980. Then racked up 3 titles in 7 years. A 10 year drought from 87-97, before their last title in 2000 started the current drought of 12 years. So it happens just like NDSU's long standing drought of 21 years (make that 17 years if you don't count the transition years). UND has had chances at breaking the drought and has been in the NCAA tournament every year since 2000 except for 2001-2002 season. Its better to have a chance at a title by being in the playoffs then sitting home. NDSU had how many playoff chances between 1990 and 2011....8 times in 17 years of eligibility.

Coincidentally, one of my girls was accepted at Ohio State, another at Miami-Oxford, but I had a heck of a time getting them to understand that University of Washington and Washington University were actually two different schools .
