Soon you will be doing the same thing with the MVFC. The conference where you belong.

Your team has exactly 5 conference wins since joining in 2006, and 3 of those were against Idaho State. The only sense in which you belong is geographically. :coffee:

In general, I agree with you here, GATW, at least in terms of football. But if one takes a wider view, UNC has been a pretty good contributor on the hardwood on both sides (at least until taking a bit of a tumble last year). They even represented the Sky in the NCAAs on the boys side a couple of years ago. Plus, there may well be some minor sports in which they're doing well in-conference.

Sure, they must step it up on the gridiron. But they shouldn't be discounted in other sports because of their deficiencies in football.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I agree, UNC has been a productive member of the Big Sky in a multitude of sports not unlike Sac St...........

You gotta bear with him. (Pardon the pun. ;) ) For many egotistical Griz fans, the only sport in the world of any import is football, so any arguments based on other sports are worthless. You'll never convince them otherwise, even when you have a sport in which your team wins nearly every conference title for ten years and a freaking ton over the spectrum of conference sports. That's the way many Griz fans are. You just gotta deal with it.

Yeah, maybe next time you can do it without the ref as a 6th man. :coffee:

You had one basket during the last 6 minutes. How did the refs help us out?

Huh? The Griz made 4 baskets in the final minute.

I think it might have been their implementation of the new and wildly unknown "No One is Allowed to Breathe on Devon Beitzel" Rule.

I think I looked it up in the NCAA Rulebook under Article 16; Section Bullshit. :coffee:

FIFY.

FWIW, you're not exactly "most" Griz fans, GATW. There are many here that won't admit to the existence of anything other than football. I do think, though, that YOU have shown a propensity to at least TALK about other sports.
