I've faced the facts and accepted that the Griz were better this year... I have no problem saying that. You're the one coming off with the napoleon complex... all about a picture of a stadium non the less  Get over yourself buddy.

I already conceded this point, everyone at JMU (whether they will admit it or not) knows that our current stadium, even though we pack it out and and create an awesome raucous* environment, blows. Thus the renovations and thus the post with the remodels jagweed.

*The rest may be wondering what raucous means... so for those not accustomed to JMU, you may know this as "A bunch of loud mouth streamer throwing pansies."

So the 25,000 seat stadium @ UofM, with 10,000 in attendance.. or
or the 10,000 seat stadium @ EWU with 11,000 in attendance..

I'd take smaller stadium w/a packed house

In the last, oh let's just say 5 years, how many times has that happened?

And the first 5 minutes or so after halftime doesn't count.

I'll have to sneak out of work for a couple minutes one of these days and get some up to day pictures of the dome for everyone.

That is from the UNIdome website, and is about 7+ years old along with all of the other pictures and virtual tour things.

True that! Every game this year was Sold Out except texas state and that was after thanksgiving. Whenever you eagle stadium fills up it's because the griz are playing there. There are so many griz fans its like a home game anyway.

That stadium looks really cool, I've never actually seen a photo of it. I can only imagine how loud it can get in there, especially with it looking like the fans are practically sitting on the field. Can't be good for the other teams offense.

the one advantage of the dome is it can get really loud. Do they have concrete bleachers or bleachers that can make some noise? That is what I love about Bulldog Stadium, those steel bleachers make so much noise it actually sounds about double capacity when people start banging on them.

The Fargodome doesn't have bleachers... 18,500 chairback seats.

The real advantage is that the student section and band are RIGHT BEHIND the opponents bench and coaching staff. It gets painfully loud in there at times. The only real drawback is that the FFD just isn't expandable in any easy way... which is unfortunate.

But is it all cement below the seats? Making it impossible to use the stands as noise. I mean 18,500 will get loud especially with the band and student section near the visiting team. Just wondering if it was unbearable loud or just loud
