You kind of have to vote for Baton Rouge because LSU is there and the Southern atmosphere ain't bad either. But shouldn't you at least include Ruston, Lafayette, Thibodaux, Natchitoches, and Monroe in the poll?

He's not the all time coaching winner. The guy at St. Johns of Minnesota is. He's not the all time winner as a Division I coach either. Not even close. Jerry Moore, for instance, has way more wins as a Division I coach than he does. He's been declared the all time winningnest Division I coast through some weird contortion where we say "well he was a Division I coach for part of his career and if you count all his lower division wins he has the most wins among coaches who were Division I coaches for at least part of their career."dbackjon wrote:Same here.93henfan wrote:Had to go with Grambling.

Re: Best Regional (Louisiana) College Town
Look, I like small college football BTW. But I've got to believe you people are joking when you act like there is anything in Louisiana like the atmosphere at LSU on game day. It's not my cup of tea because there's a limit to how large a crowd I like to be around. But comparing Grambling to LSU in terms of game day atmosphere is like comparing a paramecium to an elephant.
And, yes, I have been to a football game at Grambling and I have been to a football game at LSU. Be serious fellas.

My Grambilng vote was firmly tongue in cheek (most know that). I've been to plenty LSU games and the atmosphere is unreal. But I'm Southern all the way.JohnStOnge wrote:Look, I like small college football BTW.
