1. PSU removing statue
2. Sandusky trial
3. Comparing how PSU was punished to other situations to see if things are *fair*
4. 1 about the death penalty - covers all of the death penalties.
5. An article about a molestation victims take on how JoePa apparently handled the situation.
The difference is that I post facts. Nearly everyone else is parroting ESPN headlines.
1. Stating that PSU is removing the statue and discussing that is not "parroting" ESPN. It is discussion shit that actually happened.

2. There are ESPN links, as well as other links, in that thread but it is discussion the trial....not parroting headlines from ESPN

3. Made up situation from grizzaholic....not even close to anything about ESPN

4. Again, not really about anything related to ESPN.

5. Yep, again no connection to ESPN

Penn State accepted the findings AND the punishment.

I can guarantee you that if Penn State had fought it, they would have had a full blown NCAA investigation, which would have found a ton more stuff, and Penn State's punishment would have been far, far worse, and extended beyond the football program.

Penn state knew this, so traded off a lighter punishment with out fighting to keep the NCAA away.

Get over it. Penn State covered up Child Rape, and was deservedly punished.

Everytime you whine, you look more and more foolish, and more and more like a Pedo supporter.
How can you guarantee what an NCAA investigation would have uncovered? The NCAA doesn't have the authority to investigate criminal and civil matters anyway.

The Board of Trustees accepted the Freeh Report findings because they were the ones who commissioned it. It was designed to cove the asses of Governor Corbett, several trustees, including the governor and university president and members of the Second Mile Foundation, some of whom are members of the Board of Trustees and contributed more than $600k to Governor Corbett's campaign. If you want a conspiracy, there it is. I'm pretty sure being a fag doesn't preclude you from being able to connect the dots.

I know you haven't read the Freeh Report, so you have no business commenting on it. There is no evidence that anyone at Penn State knew of Sandusky's child molestation. That will be adjudicated at the trials of Curley and Schultz.

By the way, I'm sorry you daddy stuck his willie up your butt when you were a little boy.
That is totally uncalled for and totally expected from Pedo State fans by this point. The whole lesson of this situation should have taught you that victims come first, not your selfish need to be right about everything, or your football team staying afloat, or protecting your asses from criticism. In short, State Penn fans have absolutely no right to make any child sex abuse joke. :tothehand:

Paterno is dead
His statue and shit has been removed
PSU's football records have been removed
Sandusky raped kids
PSU didn't report Sandusky
PSU payed the price for not reporting Sandusky

No it's just the truth. I probably posted this thought before but I think that any time child sexual abuse is involved a lynch mob mentality develops and people jump to conclusions. I think Joe Paterno was convicted in the court of public opinion under emotional circumstances. But I don't think the Freeh report established that Paterno participated in the cover up.

According to the article at http://www.businessinsider.com/did-the- ... -up-2012-7" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; the Freeh report indicated that there was no direct evidence implicating Paterno. Instead, as the Paterno family correctly said, the report authors jumped to conclusions.

The only thing they had, as far as I can tell, is an e mail from Curley saying he changed his mind after talking to Paterno. To conclude from that statement that Paterno urged or supported a cover up is jumping to conclusions. For example: Curely could have changed his mind because Paterno gave a description of impacts.

We don't know exactly what Paterno knew. We don't know he knew the full extent of what Sandusky had done and was doing. And we don't know that he participated in a cover up.

And we never WILL know because, conveninently for JoPed, he died before he could be REALLY questioned about what he knew and his part in the coverup. But go ahead, keep making excuses. We already know where you stand on fucking 14-year-olds.
