I like how the rangers have basically stopped calling themselves that... they are just TEXAS. yeesh.

I'm probably a fuddy-duddy, but I cannot stand how equipment manufacturers and sportswear companies insist on dickering with things that look just fine, or work just fine. It's oddly not too bad in football of all sports (unless you are at Oregon) but

baseball: "cool base" jerseys... looks like a freaking pit stain under the arms. those stupid dot matrix long sleeve shirts that nike made, "cool flo" helmets... oy

basketball: three words: system of dress. whatever the hell that means.

hockey: everything Reebok has EVER done.

I love the cool flo helmets. I think they are sleek looking and look better than the old helmets.
