So... I did a live draft, no computers with a friend that I got suckered into..... I think things went well with my limited knowledge about NFL folks. We weill see. 100 bucks a team nad 16 teams I think. Top 4 get paid at the end.

Not a bad team. QB might be a weak spot but otherwise I would be happy.

Figured we would shoot the moon and hope for the best on RG III. I don't like him, but expect him to pick up some extra points in the running/scrambles and be behind in some games to pick up garbage yards and TDs. We also picked up some backup running back for some team in hopes of a trade after the starter gets hurt. ;) Randy Moss was a second to last pick-up on a long shot.

I need your expertise to tell me if we won or not so I don't have to pay attention to this until the end of the season.

The only problem I see is Beanie at the flex. But since this is a 16 team league, you should be ok. But watch that situation because ryan williams may take over.

I defer to my partner. He knows what he is doing. I was just in for my cash and the chance we get cash at the end of the season.

A new thing for me. Anyone else ever been in a league that doesn't give points for completions by the QB? Never seen it before, not like it mattered...as of yet, quarter to go.

Do you mean number of completions? I have never seen that. Generally the base rate for QBs is 1 point for 25 yards plus 4 points for TDs.

The Upper Deckers had a huge first weekend, and pulled out a 87-70 W behind Matty Ice In My Veins's 31 point showing. We are really looking to rebound from last years 2 win showing.....Strong start. Looks very promising, especially if Chris Johnson can get rolling. Only weak point is the defense. No real help left in the FA though.

QB Matt Ryan, Atl QB
RB Chris Johnson, Ten RB
RB Steven Jackson, StL RB
RB/WR Reggie Wayne, Ind WR
WR Mike Wallace, Pit WR
WR Vincent Jackson, TB WR
TE Brent Celek, Phi TE
D/ST Dolphins D/ST D/ST
K Alex Henery, Phi K

BENCH
Shonn Greene, NYJ RB
Michael Bush, Chi RB
Anquan Boldin, Bal WR
Laurent Robinson, Jac WR
James Starks, GB RB
Taiwan Jones, Oak RB
Randall Cobb, GB WR

Question for the fantasy experts....

I'm looking at projected totals for this week...
Right now I have starting

RB Chris Johnson @SD - projected 9
RB Steven Jackson vs WSH - projected 12
RB/WR Reggie Wayne vs MN - projected 16

I have Shonn Greene on the Bench who is projected at 16 but is play Pitts...WTF should I do? Johnson hasn't looked great, but damn a RB vs the stealers?

My two WR are both projected at 15 so I don't want to touch them...

I would let Johnson have this week. If he fails then swap him to the bench. He really isn't a great RB, just fast. He doesn't break tackles. ..

I've also got a couple of what could be big wavier pick ups set to go through at 2AM for me...hopefully.

Conditionally drop James Starks, GB RB to Waivers
Conditionally add Scott Chandler, Buf TE from Waivers to Bench

My TE play out of Celek has me worried, yes I know only 1 week..but the QB situation up in Philly...

Conditionally drop Taiwan Jones, Oak RB to Waivers
Conditionally add Danny Amendola, StL WR from Waivers to Bench

Sounds as though Jones lost the back up job after this past week...Amendola put up 12 last week and is projected at 12 this week. Bradford could turn into something good.

My bench outscored my starter last week...minus matty ice.

Also watching Ogletree, K Blair Walsh and K Greg Zuerlein...I think I may pounce on Zuerlien. 13 last week, 13 projected...position rank of 7. I'm not sure what to think of Walsh yet (as a viking fan as well). Position rank of 3, and he could see a lot of PT on FG's this year.

My kicker is Henry from Philly...don't have a good feeling on him.
If nothing else I've got some decent trade bait right now...

Last year I snagged Robinson off waivers and he got me a ton of points. Ogletree may do the same this year. . .

Wallace is going against Revis, so if anyone sits, it's him. That being said, I don't trust Greene, so I recommend not starting him this week. He needs to show more than just one game.

As for kickers, I would keep the guy from philly. But I wouldn't argue getting the Minny kicker for this week since Min is going against a poor Colts D.
