Now 2-7, thanks to 3-2 win today behind Kyle "Stud" Kendrick, who went 7+ strong innings. Rollins benched for two bonehead moves.

That non-play by Rollins may have been the straw that broke the camels back yesterday. I really don't know if he'll be back next season. If they believe in Galvis they'll try to move Rollins contract & his .240BA elsewhere.

I would still bring him back, but on one condition: He is not to leadoff. I was thinking that maybe the phils could sign Bourn to a 3 year deal and re-sign pierre. Then we could have an OF of Brown, Pierre, Bourn, Schierholtz, and Mayberry with Brown and Bourn starting most days and the other 3 could fight it out in spring training for LF. Then Bourn can leadoff. Rollins can bat 6th.

Nice that the Phils are winning series, too bad they waited until the middle of August to start doing so.

8 out in the WC race with 25 games to go. Next 13 against sub .500 teams, Phils need a winning streak and some help.
