Sac State in the end zone again on a post route in the red zone. Hornets now 11-for-11 on the year in the red zone.

The drive was better as Safron FINALLY passed 100 yards in the air, but there are still points of concern, like holding blocks until the back is past and receivers holding on to a ball in the hands....

I think Lobato is a decent QB, but UNC's O-Line doesn't really look improved at all from last season.

The UNC staff just screwed the pooch. They eschewed a FG that would have brought their deficit to one possession, but got greedy. Lobato was sacked on 4th and 10. The Hornets quickly capitalized with another TD.

YSU beats Albany in a close game 31-24. Albany will win their conference and should be ranked. Kept the powerful YSU offense off balance.

That was a freaking "I Feel Sorry for Them" call if I ever saw one. Todd Davis' arms were wrapped around the QB BEFORE the ball left his hand, yet somehow they get roughing out of that? Great. Give up a TD gift-wrapped in a zebra-colored bow....

Sac had their punt called back, but all that did was run another 13 ticks off the clock. Sac's new punter, kicking from his own 5, had his boomer against an 11-man rush roll dead at the UNC 12....

It's a final. Sac State beats Northern Colorado 28-17 in one of those stupid non-conference "conference" games. We have some things to work on, but things ARE looking up!

Meh. Lot of stupid mistakes by Lobato. Taking a sack on 4th down, throwing an "up for grabs" pass into the endzone when you are on the Hornet 20ish and are trailing by 11 with about 7 mins left in the 4th. He just isn't maturing. Good arm and strong body. Pretty inaccurate at times though. Ugly win today but I'll take it.

Great game. We were one dropped pass from being in a position to win.

I wouldn't at all be surprised to see a rematch come November/December!

I was pleasantly surprised to see how we matched up physically against YSU. I didn't see a whole lot of overwhelming mismatches.
