Just read egriz...two favorite comments.

1. Dan Moore is a liability to the team ( after 3 weeks of hearing how he was the best running back in the country)

2. If the griz don't turn the ball over 5 times they win. ( no shit dumb ass).

Moore can be a beast, but he also flails his arms around like a crazy person.

Moore didn't lose the game, though. NAU's switch to man coverage & Montana's inability to adjust to it (or run the ball, or protect the passer, or etc…) did.
2. If the griz don't turn the ball over 5 times they win. ( no shit dumb ass).
Fans on every message board say that shit, though. That's hardly unique to eGriz.

NAU is legit. The Griz got spanked at their homecoming in front of a packed house at homecoming.

NAU has talent 2 deep at nearly every position and you may have the lead at halftime but the coaches will make adjustments and then our talent will wear you down.

I am serving up a big plate of crow for my Griz friends. Especially the ass that said I wonder if Jack Party will show his face on here....I am here and here to stay because NAU is for real.

Way to go Jacks!

So this is what 16 years of pent up frustration comes out as.....NAU is for real..now that is funny.

Give credit...NAU slammed it at Montana in the 2nd half and our coaches were scratching their asses trying to figure out what to do. Hope they figure it our by next week or this will continue.

I was out in Tokyo all night and got home and went to bed still really drunk with the Griz up 24-7.

Now I wake up with a giant hangover and we lost by 10.

WTF happened? :?

I feel like I gave this team way too much credit.

It would be surprising if someone did get through unscathed. Even EWU has to go to Bozeman & MSU has to go to Missoula (these two lucked out by dodging NAU).

1. That's a redundant statement.

2. I love all these closet NAU fans. Closet NAU??? That's just sad. "National television" ? It was Root Sports, not available anywhere east of Denver.

You're small potatoes. So is Montana in the grand scheme of things but you especially. You came out online as an internet tough guy to be a bandwagon fan of a team that got blown out 69-0 or some shit by one of the worst teams in the Pac 12.

You've wasted your time here, you really have. I'll bet $1,000 you're not here in two months when NAU shits the bed as usual, but you wouldn't know anything about that because you just discovered football.

Trust me, I wouldn't say this about any other team. Well maybe EWU. But at least they have some tradition.

You're a commuter school with a mediocre program. And you're spending a lot of time online bragging about it.

DuckDuck - I'll bite. Here goes. A few comments.

1. Dbackjon has been on here for ages. He may not be the president of Championshipsubdivision online university here but he's at least gotta be the Dean. He's no closet Jacks fan. Think what you will of me but I'm no fairweather fan.

2. I question your attention to the Pac 12 if you think ASU is one of the worst teams in the league. See: Colorado and WSU. The Griz should go on the road to Tempe, Tucson, Seattle or Eugene to start the season out someday to see what it's like.

3. NAU can't beat an FBS school on the road. NAU can't beat the Griz. Both refuted. NAU cannot follow the rest of the season and shits the proverbial bed. This remains to be seen. The possibility is in place but your crystal ball works no better than anyone else's.

4. Mediocre program can be backed up with facts. That is true but NAU is not a commuter school. Have you been to Flagstaff? There's no major metropolitan area close by for thousands of student commute from. 70,000 or so in Flagstaff. Rural setting. NAU has state-wide campuses (Yuma, Pinal County, Navajo Reservation, Phoenix/Tucson metro areas, etc) that make up many of the official enrollment but those students generally never set foot on the main campus. Therefore, they aren't commuters. I think of a Portland State U. or Arizona State U as a commuter school. Meaning a large metro school with students having no life on campus other than spending a few hours a day in class. That's not NAU.

5. I don't speak for Jackparty. I don't agree with everything he says although I love his enthusiasm for the Jacks. What he said here on CS.com was no different than what comes out of the keyboards of more than just one internet Griz fan.

I am a bandwagoner in a sense, but regardless of whether they win or lose. My kid plays for the team. I wouldn't be on this site if he didn't. I'm an Oregon Duck. Montana talks a lot of sh*t and now just got it shoved back down their throats for breakfast. The fact of the matter is, a not very good team that chokes is going to have a hard time winning games purely on the big mouths of their posters on this magnificent forum. Use yesterdays game as a sterling example

To be fair, I am well east of Denver...Savannah, GA, to be exact - and I watched it. But I agree, Root hardly qualifies as National TV.

That said, I thought they put on a really good production and I'm glad the Big Sky has something that can be watched Nationally outside of the local affiliates. :thumb:
