Well, McKinney threw the ball directly to your defense on his two picks.

No shit. They caused the fumbles but McKinney being a shitty QB is what caused his picks. Not the NAU defense.

I wish they would give SS-H a try. McKinney has shown he can't throw the ball. :ohno:

Kids a RS Freshman. If Delaney or any Griz fan did not think starting a young kid would have ups and downs this year have their head stuck in those forest fires. As another thread pointed out, he is on par with JJ of last year. One loss is not the end of the world and Montana got a good wake up call (both coaches and players) by an NAU team that played 60 minutes while Montana played about 25. The Sac loss last year was just as bad and had the same reaction from Griz fans.

I'm not sure SSH has, either. That TD was way underthrown, it's just that Henderson beat his guy by about 10 yards.

If there was anyone that could be called a "breakout" player from yesterday, it was Henderson.

TMac threw a great long pass on the first big play of the game. Just needs to cut down on the bone head mistakes.

Yep. The Griz picked apart NAU's zone early, but NAU's switch to man often took away his first read. That, coupled with mediocre pass protection, caused him to panic. The first & third picks were about McKinney forcing things & throwing the ball up for grabs. The second pick was a good read, just a horrible throw.

Using turnovers as an excuse is and always has been a bitch move. I leave that shit to EWU fans for the most part. NAU most certainly caused a great deal of our turnover problem.

The Griz are an elite team and you all know it. That's why you like to beat them so much. Hell, it's why you like to jump on another jock when they beat them.

I seem to recall most of the Griz fans on here using the turnovers excuse in '10. :coffee:

Alright alright there's nothing more to see here, you've all had your fun at the Grizzlies posters expense now disperse and move on. Montana is synonymous with the Big Sky conference, but NAU is no fluke this year. They've always managed to get some talent but this year, unlike most, they went deep into the JUCO ranks and "out recruited" many bigger programs for JUCO all star players. They have talent and they have depth and they have a favorable schedule. They were better at nearly every position then Montana. With SLO now in the Big Sky and NAU having the strongest team in, well maybe ever, and ROOTS Sports, talent rich southern California and Las Vegas are going to open up to SLO and NAU and change the dynamics of the conference forever.

Not gonna lie... Im not impressed at all with Gregorak the D Cordinator. He looks like a little kid jumping up and down on the sidelines throwing his little fits. He has the same philosophies as his mentor Paulson. When getting the ball pounded down your throat do nothing about it and take it like a man. Ive seen that one too many times play out before in big games.. At least with Breske, if he got burned in the beginning of the game but he would make halftime adjustments to straighten it out. This team has been getting blown out in the second half of games this year.. We did nothing to try and stop the run against NAU along with p!ss poor arm tackling that doesnt help either. If we continue to play like this and our coaches arent willing to make correct adjustments its going to be a long season....... :twocents:

If the other Griz fans aren't gonna say it, I will. Being down on the field for this game, I got to see, and hear just about everything.

Griz dominated the first half. NAU destroyed the second half. Plain and simple. Hearing the coaches bitch at each other got entertaining. The players were positive, picking each other up and giving encouragement. Delaney did a little, until he got ran over by the ref on the sidelines right in front of me.

Of course not. No one ever beats the griz. The griz simply give games to opposing teams on occasion. The 2010 Cats win in Missoula - Cats defense didn't force those fumbles; the RBs simply handed them the ball. :coffee:
