Re: Medal of Honor
After reading this thread, I've come to the realization that a couple of my friends were right...

Ah, they probably are, G. Why doubt it?

Cap'n, as I said you make some real points that give me a chance to think about things from a different angle a lot of time but there are times when you just say stupid shit like the shit you have on this thread that has me thinkng that you would rather just piss on someone and let the stick of dynamite next to you burn (Piece of Cake). The thread was about Medal of Honor recipients and if you don't respect them so be it, it's your prerogative. The line that you posted in response need no arguing with as it makes no sense at all. Reread your answer to me and tell me how it has something to do with Medal of Honor recipients because I don't get your meaning about "unabashed self-interest for material gain."Cap'n Cat wrote:Ursus A. I am happy when Cap'n makes good and valid points about things that are wrong, or false shit that attempts to make patriotism an excuse for anything we do. Drive by like this is a worthless attempt to start a fire for no reason AZGriz so I wouldn't pay it much attention if I were you.
Funny thing, Bears Butt, it ain't patriotism that does it. It's unabashed self-interest for material gain.
God Bless America.

Get off it, Horibilly. As I said earlier, I'm poking Captain America, BUCDAD. All my responses were geared at that. To me, he's as over-the-top with the military crap as I am with my crap.
The material gain and self-interest things, don't make sense?
I didn't think so, either. Cat shit, nothing more or less.

Edit: However, I am not beyond reproach. My apologies to anyone who was offended by my seeming disregard for war dead, etc. If you know me and many of you do, it's not me.
Anything I say in the future, think "It's just Cat shit".

Ok Cat I'm off it. Had I known that you were sensitive about being poked back a little bit then I would not have done so.Cap'n Cat wrote:Ursus A. Hey, I have very little sensitivity about being poked back. People take The Cat seriously at their own peril.

Capy, as do I, totally loves BUCDAD's cub scouts honor posts/threads, and BUCDAD obviously loves making them.

One of my proudest moments was in 5th grade when I earned my herpetology badge on a scout camping trip.

"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."
