I have Albany #20 this week, per your last note I think I have Lehigh at #22.

Why do people care about polls now? This ain't the BCS We don't need to stinkin polls- that's what we have the playoffs for.

Polls have gone from worthless as tits on a bull (pre season) to mostly worthless (Sept) to semi worthless (now).

I make it a point not to pay them any attention right now. Maybe in early Nov.

In all seriousness, I really think Albany is very very good. The games against Maine and YSU were the first games in history that I can remember where we really are on the same level as the Top FCS teams in terms of depth, speed and strength.

Our QB played horrendous against Maine and in the past that would have been the death knell for us, but our Defense stepped up big time and made a ton of stops inside the red zone.

With only 38 scholarships in play (and only 2 full scholarship players on the team) it is very exciting to think of what we can turn out with 63 rides and 40+ full rides.

Wouldn't that be 63 full rides by 2014 or 2015? To get from 38 to 63 Albany should be able to sign 3 straight CAA recruiting classes in the 20-25 signee ballpark.

Yep. Albany finishes 10-1 the committee will give them a bye (zero chance at a seed- Maine will finish wit a losing record).

Albany finishes 9-2, NEC AQ they'll be on the bubble for a bye, but probably won't get it.

Albany likely has to win @ Duquesne & get the NEC AQ. Not sure if the committee would give them at At-Large from the NEC at 9-2.
