Well, this was Romney's best chance as the the rest of the debates will also focus on foreign policy and the final debate will be solely on foreign policy. Romney has 0 foreign policy experience, so I really don't think the rest of the debates will go as well for him.

But, even so... Romney will not win... certainly not in a landslide.

One thing I learned last night was both agreed that anyone under 60 was going to see their retirement age raised.

Also learned this morning that the greatest scientist we have said it was BHO not ready for the high altitude of Denver that accounted for his poor showing
Former Vice President Al Gore on Wednesday suggested a curious culprit was to blame for President Barack Obama’s lackluster debate performance: Denver’s high altitude.

“Obama arrived in Denver at 2 p.m. today, just a few hours before the debate started,” Gore said on Current TV. “Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet and you only have a few hours to adjust — I don’t know.”

Romney has 10X more foreign policy experience than Obama had in 2008. :coffee:

The last thing Obama wants to debate any time soon is foreign policy. All he's got is "I killed Bil Laden". Romney's retort will be, yeah, and one of our ambassadors was murdered on your watch. The last thing Obama wants is a debate about Benghazigate.

You may be right, but the world (especially Israel) isn't exactly in love with Obama. His foreign policy thus far has been eerily similar to his predecessor.

BHO's foreign policy has been a disaster
Looking forward to Mitt pointing it out to the American people

Romney is having a good time playing offense...BHO is learning that it is hard to defend a horrible record

People will watch this one for the same reason that a lot of people watched the Benson/Quayle debate. You know at least one of the candidates is going to be a gaffe/laugh machine. This time it will be Biden.

Lets not get too carried away...
The American people still have to vote and we've all seen what that's like
What we're really talking about is that 5% maybe 8% in the middle who don't want to vote for either one of these guys

What will they do with their vote - Gary Johnson is the key really
Can either one of these guys convince that voter to NOT vote for Johnson..?

Sarah Palin On Obama’s Debate Performance: “I Almost Felt Sorry For Him”…

Watching President Barack Obama’s debate performance Wednesday night was such a “struggle” that Sarah Palin says she “almost felt sorry for him.”

“Oh, it was a struggle to watch some parts of this, Neil,” Palin told Fox’s Neil Cavuto. “As you considered President Obama, with his lack of enthusiasm for his own policies and his lack of conviction, in trying to articulate why it is that he believes that government will make you healthy, wealthy, and wise and happy when you know the vast majority of Americans know government is not the answer.”

Has it occurred to you that in 2008 Obama had zero foreign policy or executive experience?

Wouldn't most people prefer someone who is inexperienced in foreign policy to someone whose foreign policy has been an unmitigated disaster.

5-8% of voters in 3-5 tweener States. It doesn't matter who I vote for, Maryland is going blue. Same can be said for AZ in Arizona.
So why not vote for a guy to get a third party some attention.

As much as he's the darling of some posters here, let's be honest, 99.5% of the electorate has no idea who Gary Johnson is. Heck, I consider myself above average when it comes to political knowledge as a voter and if I didn't frequent this board I wouldn't know who he was either. In no way shape or form is Gary Johnson a key point in this election and he'll have no impact on the final result. He's no Ross Perot, which he should take as a compliment.

Nationally, Gary Johnson probably won't get more than 1% of the vote.

Latest Rasmussen (pre debate) has Obama 49, Romney 47, 3% undecided, and 1% for another candidate (and Johnson is only one of several).

Okay fair enough...
But I think we all know it's not 100% for either of the two darlings - both of which are sh!t candidates
Of course that's just my opinion

So there's only 3 percent of Americans who aren't voting for one of these clowns..?
How can that be possible... (amazing)

I noticed Romney would kinda do the same thing and start getting all bobbly-headed when the prez said something that he could pounce on. It was pretty entertaining....I can't believe I watched the whole thing.

BTW, can somebody please explain to me the term "economic patriotism" in a way that doesn't sound like Obama thinks it's OK to legislate patriotism. WTF? :dunce:
