Congrats to Os fans everywhere.
Now the race to clinch the AL East. It's been a fun race and neither team has given an inch. The most remarkable stretch was when both teams won seven straight with just one game in the standings separating them. Wow. Talk about playing great ball under pressure.

Last day of the regular season
Yankees lead by 1 game after coming back to bed the Sox in extras. While the O's overcome a career night for Shields to win 1-0 in yet ANOTHER 1 run win.
Yanks-Sox tonight on ESPN
O's-Rays tonight on ESPN2

O's need to win and the Yanks to lose tonight for a one game AL East pennant tiebreaker! I'd be hopeful if the Red Sox didn't suck so bad.

In B'more. I'd consider driving up and scalping one for that.

Ah fuck.
Worst case scenario. Birds have to fly to F'ing Texas, and then play the Yankees if they get past the Rangers.
GD'ed Tampa played like it was game 7 of the WS last night. And the Red Sox bent over, grabbed their ankles and too the whole thing.

Yeah. I keep telling myself not to be disappointed considering where expectations were for this season... but, it's difficult not to be. Would help to at least beat the Rangers and bring the playoffs back to Baltimore for a series. But, with Saunders pitching... that seems unlikely... but, anything can happen.

How about those ridiculous Red Sox
Was there ever a team you wanted to see lose more and like it than them..!!!
What a circus
It's good to see the O's compete
Make a blockbuster trade with the Mariners - go to the playoffs within 2 seasons
it's a tested formula that works

Yeah, the Mariners are great at turning other teams' fortunes around. Only a matter of time before Felix ends up in pinstripes or in Phoenix.

The Yankees of the late 70's. Steinbrenner burst onto the scene. Free agency began and the Yankees were first in line to spend money (Catfish Hunter), which was a shock to the system of every baseball fan. Despite winning, the "Bronx Zoo" was quite a circus with managers being fired almost every year.

He's still busy spreading the truth about Cabrera's fake Triple Crown.

Saunders pitching way better than I ever could have asked for. All over the place... but, getting people out.
Orioles take 2-1 lead in the 6th.

This one'll probably go 18 innings with the O's winning 3-2.
