Re: 2012 NFC West Thread
I really don't understand why Seattle always has two teams. One at home and one on the road. It has been this way since the Superbowl season. It's unbelievable that they can beat the best teams in the league at home and lose to the worst ones on the road.

Re: 2012 NFC West Thread
Down go the Cards....
The Cards OL looks terrible. Gave up 8 sacks last week and 9 last night....
How many games can they continue to win with the 7th worst passing offense and worst rushing offense in the league?
They better hope their defense continues to allow 15ppg or they aren't going to win many mroe games.

Given the discussion from last year....and how he's doing this year....I found this fitting

#1 Defense (SEA) at home in arguably the loudest stadium against the #1 offense (NE) this week. Gonna be epic. Tom Brady thought he had a rough go of it against AZ...Brock Landers wrote:The AFC East's asses must be getting real sore at this point...

Eventually Wilson will be >>> Kolb, Skelton
Our O-line >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cards O-line
Our D >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cards D
And finally, Lynch and Turbin curb stomp anything the Cards throw out there.
And the real scary thing is, both the O-line and most of the defense is young! So about that future...
Oline - agree
Our D is much better than the Seahawk D
You lose, just like today
Wilson with a 133.7 rating... 13 point comeback win over the Pats.... 3 TDs, no INTs. Yep, not that good.
Meanwhile, how many picks did Kolb throw today, including the game loser in OT?
And Seahawks have the best D in the NFL.

Re: 2012 NFC West Thread
Who didn't see that one coming? The Ds had a stranglehold on the offenses for most of the game. I wasn't a fan of the playcalling for the hawks in the second half, especially the passes. It seemed like every time they were trying to do playaction and throw for 30+ yards. You aren't going to score on one of the top Ds by doing that! And I think we just found out that Seattle will be taking the top WR in next years draft. They desperately need a #1 guy, as I've been saying since forever. 0-3 in the division already isn't going to cut it. They better hope Zona starts to suck in order to have any chance of making the playoffs.

The line opened at SF -7, so he gave me the points. Easy bet.Brock Landers wrote:I must of missed somethinguofmman1122 wrote:7 points!?!?!

Well, after we lost to Minnesota, we went out and mopped the floor with two teams, and we had just lost to NY, and the game was at home.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:The line opened at SF -7, so he gave me the points. Easy bet.Brock Landers wrote: I must of missed something

Re: 2012 NFC West Thread
They'd be better off going for Greg Jennings (who I think is going to Miami after the year). Best projected WR in the draft is Justin Hunter, according to ESPN. Kiper has Keenan Allen (Cal) as his top guy. He's a junior, but with Tedford most likely about to get axed, I bet he leaves Berkeley. I don't profess myself to be Mel Kiper III, but I wouldn't count on either of those guys to be a #1 WR in the NFL. Better to try FA, IMO.Seahawks08 wrote:Who didn't see that one coming? Re: 2012 NFC West Thread
Hawks really screwed the pooch for not finishing out the Detroit game (or AZ or STL)... we should be 7-3 right now. It's a shame the Rams managed to take a delay and fuck up that FG... that game was ridiculous. I'm happy with the tie though... now it's not unreasonable for Seattle to catch SF.
SF: 6-2-1
SEA: 6-4
REMAINING GAMES
SF: CHI, @NO, @STL, MIA, @NE, @SEA, AZ
SEA: @MIA, @CHI, ARI, @BUF, SF, STL
Seattle only has two decently loseable games left, the rest they should be favored to win comfortably, so likely will finish 10-6 or 11-5. SF has four decently loseable games left. If neither Smith or Cutler play next MNF, that one could end in a 0-0 tie.
Niners will likely finish between 9-6-1 and 11-4-1. Should be an entertaining finish down the stretch.

Re: 2012 NFC West Thread
I'd say any road game for the Seahawks is "losable" at this point
