Since their move to D1, not including this year, they are 15-74 and been outscored by 1,093 points.

If you want to include this year it goes to 16-79 being outscored by 1,156.

Of those 16 wins only 9 of them were against full scholarship D1 teams at the time of the game.....and 3 of those were against Idaho State.

NoCo moved up in 2003, not 2004. They went 9-2, though 6 of the wins were DIIs. The Bears did beat Big Sky co-champ Montana State, though, and they only lost to eventual semifinalist FAU by 2.

Bumpas is injured and might be out for a while. Not sure, but I'm hearing 2 weeks at the very least. We have some depth there at LB, but you can't replace an all-american. I think we will beat ISU and maybe Weber.

10-0 Griz at half time and we had a couple turnovers in the first half. If I recall we were moving the ball on their defense, but we had turnovers.

Really? Every single thing he said is 100% true. And take away the '02 and '03 seasons where you lucked into Jared Allen and you haven't had a season over SIX wins since 1983. That's 30 YEARS of suckage.

Congrats on the D1 title that is 32 years old now. What does that you you this year? Um...0 wins.

Idaho State is SUB .500 FOR THEIR PROGRAM HISTORY.

25 times in their program history have they finished with 3 wins or less...including the year after their title
34 seasons with a record over .500 (starting with the most recent 03, 02, 00, 95, 94, 83, 81, 80, 75, 72, 71, 64, 63, 61, 60, 59, 57, 56, 55, 54, 53, 52, 51, 49, 48, 46, 41, 37, 35, 31, 29, 21, 1911, 1907).
That means out of 109 (110 if you include this year) years of playing football only 34 have them have had winning records (playing at least 8 games, which seems to be the cut off for every schools records).


Random fact, but it goes to show how bad things have been - they've only shut out 6 teams since 1981...4 of those have been D2s and 1 is a school that no longer plays football and I'm not sure was D1 when they played (Cal State-Northridge)

Cal State-Northridge was actually IN the BSC in the early 2000's for a couple years. Getting shut out by ISU was probably what convinced them to finally abandon football altogether.

UNI has 6 10 win seasons since the turn of the century, App State 7, Montana 9, etc....

I wouldn't give too much credit to your defense. I'm not sure the Weber State Offense could SCORE at a Sorority House Toga Party this year. Our O-Line has been everybody's bitch this year, and our Offensive Coordinator is the spawn of the 3 stooges. Good Hell WE SUCK!!
