Not by these results.
Drew was gone after this year - didn't give a damn here in Arizona.
Reynolds was/is a strike out machine - O's winning despite him. David Hernandez was a key part of the Dbacks title last year.
The Parker trade is one that is a little questionable, but the Dbacks had too many young arms, not enough experience.
Melvin crashed and burned as a Manager here.
Showalter - well, the O's will win the title AFTER he moves on.

Again, moneyball may work in the season, but the playoffs is a crapshoot. Great season by the A's nonetheless!

Great season for the A's. Having been to a game at the Coliseum, the A's fans are very fanatic towards their team.
