I guess CP just paid for that bogus 4th down call.

Anyways, Safron is calling a great game and executing VERY well despite having BOTH hands jacked up. Both TDs have been on amazingly well-placed balls.

I REALLY don't like that last-play breakdown that let the QB go wild. Glad the secondary got him down after the clock ran out....

Broadus broke a ton of tackles to lead to a big run, but time expired before the play could end so no points.

Wow. Broadus converts a 4th. down but then fumbles. Sac returns it to the CP 20.

Sac called for a PF during the return, so their field position won't be nearly as good.

Well, most quarterbacks are about 6 feet tall. 6 feet is two yards.

I'm starting to wonder if CP doesn't trust their kicker. I've never seen so many 4th down attempts. They get the long TD drive, but eschew the PAT to go for two, and the pass is knocked down.

I'm confused here....

They went for 2 to try to cut it to 3.

Option teams like their chances in short-yardage situations, that's why you saw the gambles.

Big fumble for CP, but they got it back. Lost about 15 yards on the play, though.

3rd. & 19 from their own 40. Incomplete, but an odd flag is thrown. Defensive holding (being catchable doesn't matter there).

That should have been offsetting penalties (intentional grounding).
