2 MVC teams in there the regular season first and second place teams. The #9 seeded Evansville Purple Aces got hot in the tourney knocking both the 1 seed Il. State and the 2 seed Creighton Bluejays out into the NIT while getting the NCAA auto bid.

Portland State beats U Portland, 57-51. Kelsey Kahle scored 30 and became PSU's all-time leading rebounder. The Viks will play Oregon State in Corvallis in the second round.

This was the first postseason win for Big Sky WBB since 1995.
