Everyone is talking about Kobe pulling out of his support for Brown early. What no one has brought up is that Head-Case Howard. He got Van Gundy fired in Orlando at the end of last season, goes to the Lakers and promptly gets the Laker coach fired after five games. I'm not sure, but I think this has nothing to do with Kobe (for once).

You can say all of the above statements about Jackson as well, the difference is that Jackson has proven that he can win, and that he can win with talent.
If the Lakers picked D'Antoni because they didn't think the team could handle Jackson's system they are idiots.

Lakers don't have the right mix at all. They are an old team who can't shoot at all. Nash is the only piece that can possibly work in this system, and he is injured.
