Whether or not you buy into Total QBR, Luck is top 5 in that, the others aren't. Just sayin'.
QBR does not look at the defensive strength of the schedule. Washington has played 5 teams with winning records, Indy 3.

I think Luck will get the most praise over his career, but I would be surprised if Tannehill doesn't develop into a fine QB.
RG 3, while productive (especially fantasy-wise), won't hold up as a pro. See Stewart, Kordell and Vick, Michael for additional information.

Wilson I will admit intrigues me, but he's too short and they'll give his defense more love than they'll give him. Not fair, but that's how it'll be for at least this year.
has nothing to do with being Rookie of the year. Vick isn't a good comparison to RGIII as a QB.
Do Vick and Griffin both run? If so, that's the basis for my comparison.

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks (90.7 QBR, 125.9 NFL rating). Wilson completed 21 of 27 passes (77.8 percent) or 224 yards with two touchdowns, no interceptions, two sacks and five rushes for 38 yards, including one rushing first down. Wilson set an NFL rookie record with 16 completed passes in a row. He completed 5 of 8 for 70 yards and a touchdown with four first downs and a 92.8 QBR score when the Dolphins sent five or more pass-rushers.
Wilson is also the first rookie in NFL history to have a 125+ QB rating in 3 consecutive games. :coffee:

So, no mention of the fact that Luck has turned the Colts into a playoff contender and RG3 has led the Redskins to right where they've been for the last few years...and with better personnel than Luck has?

Last year the Colts had basically no QB and dipped from 10 wins to 2, so I don't know how you can say the Redskins had better personnel than Luck. Christian Ponder could have improved Indy with the talent they have.
Redskins best season in the last 3 was 6 wins, this year they have 5 wins with 5 games left.
Redskins have not made the playoffs since 2007, Colts 2010, the 9th consecutive year in the playoffs.
Indy still has 2 games left with Houston. We'll see by the season's end.

Wilson has gotten much better as the season has progressed. His QBR has been 82.4 since Week 5. That is the second-highest in the NFL behind Tom Brady's 85.1 over that span.

The figure is 55.0 for the entire NFL since Week 5.

Wilson's 105.3 passer rating since Week 5 trails Rodgers (112.6), Alex Smith (110.5), Peyton Manning (109.5), Drew Brees (108.0), Brady (106.9) and Robert Griffin III (105.5).
Wilson only keeps getting better and better.

Luck throws an ice-cold TD pass with time running out (on the road) to beat the Lions. His stats haven't been flashy lately, but the Colts are 8-4 with a good hold on the first wild card spot.

Two game winning TDs... but Hawks' "D" tried to give it away by allowing Marshall to get open 50+ yards down the field to put the Bears in range for a game-tying FG. 24 seconds to keep the Bears out of FG range, and can't do it... pathetic.

Russell Wilson is all that is man though.
Wilson continued his tear, completing 23 of 37 attempts for 293 yards, zero interceptions and the two late touchdown passes, one to Golden Tate for what seemed like a game-winning score and another to Sidney Rice in overtime. He picked up 71 yards on nine carries, a few of which produced first downs in critical moments.

Wilson and the Hawks would be 9-3 if the D hadn't given up leads in the 4th quarter to DET and MIA. All 5 of our losses have been by 7 points or less. :ohno:

Seattle Seahawks rookie Russell Wilson leads the NFL in Total QBR after Week 5.

That is a stunning achievement given that Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Robert Griffin III rank second through fifth, respectively.

Wilson ranked only 29th through Week 5. He had five touchdowns, six interceptions and a 33.9 QBR score to that point in the season.

Since then, Wilson has completed 63.5 percent of his passes for 1,529 yards with 14 touchdowns, two interceptions, 13 sacks and 13 first downs rushing. Those and other factors leave Wilson with an 83.0 QBR score over that span. Wilson is now at 65.3 for the season, right near the cutoff for Pro Bowl-caliber play over a full season.

Manning leads the NFL this season at 81.1 out of 100, with 50 right around average.

Anyone watching Wilson lead 97- and 80-yard touchdown drives to beat the Chicago Bears on Sunday knows Wilson played spectacularly. The Bears led the postgame applause. There was no surprise in seeing Wilson emerge from that game with an 85.4 QBR score for the game. He was that good.

3 great rookie QB's. Luck steps in and does a great job replacing Manning. Wilson takes the job away from a high priced FA and RGIII redefines the position.

IF you watched the telecast last night, the ESPN announcers were basically blowing RGIII at every opportunity. For a minute I thought it was another Steelers game and it was the usual Ben Raplesberger suck-off....they have found their new golden child, and his name is RGIII.

I thought Gruden was going to blow a load during the game. You'd think Shanahan fucking INVENTED zone blocking and the spread option offense.

No, the Redskins are not going to playoffs and they aren't going there for a while. Luck took a crappy team to the Wild Card lead. RG3 tacked a few more wins on....whooopee. I'm sticking to my guns. I'd rather have Russell Wilson. Guy is legit.
