For those of you who don't know he is young, and very accomplished.

He'd be smart to leave now.

Drake is going to get exposed and expose their conference (not that anyone actually thinks they could compete in a scholarship league) for how bad they really are when the travel to UNI next year.

URI maybe? Towson due to the Ambrose issues? Could be GSU even though they are leaving.

Not Richmond, UD, Maine, UNH, W&M.
Is red hot according to whom? A bunch of arm chair QBs over on the CAAZone?

according to me...a club seat holder and a director level donor. I certainly won't be re-upping at my current rate.

Donors are yanking money at record pace. If you think otherwise, you aren't really paying attention. $$$ talks...

Donors can't be yanking $ at a record pace. 2012 Duke Club $$ has already been paid, and 2013 Duke Club solicitations haven't even been sent out yet. The priority deadline isn't for almost another 6 months- until May 15. We won't know until then if 2013 Duke Club donations are down.

Bob Ford at Albany has not decided wether he will return for his 43rd year at Albany.

I doubt we'd be looking at Drake coach though. We have a young Associate HC/Offensive Coordinator currently on staff and if not him, Pete Rossamondo, HC at New Haven (DII power) is our previous OC and is a natural replacement.

So nice to be a CAA team!

Is the Drake coach an innovative offensive mind? I know UD is looking for an OC. I'm not sure if the UD OC salary is a raise from Drake HC. Our HC is the highest paid in FCS I believe.

Back to the original topic, can we do a one year exchange of Matthews for Keeler just to see what it's like? ;)

Could be Maine who is talking to the Drake coach.

A lot of questions as to Cosgrove will resign.

With a new AD at Delaware, and not making the playoffs 2 years in a row with a declining attendance issue KC Keeler should be on the 2013 hot seat.

You're being far too kind. UD in the last eight seasons:

2012 no playoffs
2011 no playoffs
2010 epic choke in Frisco
2009 no playoffs
2008 no playoffs
2007 destroyed in Chatty
2006 no playoffs
2005 no playoffs

I've taken to making Christmas ornaments out of the playoff parking passes that come with my season tickets. I need to get a bigger tree.

I think you can save your Frisco $$.

If they did a 2013 pre-season poll for the CAA today I think the Hens would be 7 or 8.....

Keeler has to win next year or there needs to be a new head coach.

I give him a year to fix things. Personally, I think they should change a good part of the coaching staff & become more aggressive on both sides of the ball. Not only do we lose (too much) now, but we're miserably boring while we do it. There's 2 strikes on the batter in my mind, here comes the 2-strike pitch KC, what are you gonna do?

Maybe I'm just bitter right now but I have a low enthusiasm level for the Hens right now. I can tell you that my kids are old enough now to re-start my one 1-A game trip a year tradition next year. Going to goto Penn State when either Michigan or Nebraska come to town.

And losing to Montana, at home, should solidify his firing.

If we did a swap , Matthews for Keeler, You guys would not hear a complete sentence all year long. All of a sudden Delaware would have nine best players in the country and 42 best players on the team.

Every DC rep is hearing the same thing, JMU fans & alum are not happy about how the athletic dept has been mismanaged. Alum being asked for money are expecting goals/vision for the athletic dept and they are not getting a response from a presdent that claims to be on a listening tour
