Embree was toast the second he lost to Sac State. That and the Buffs showed no signs of life as the season progressed. As much as I agree that 2 years is a short time to give a HC to turn something around, there are plenty of signs to indicate if the program is turning around even if wins aren't being obtained. There was zero indication that Embree was turning anything around.

4-21 in 2 years with a fcs loss will lose every pac 12 coach their job....
