I'm willing to leave this debate up to the people of the world to decide. I'm fairly confident that the Nazis will lose by a large margin on this one.

Overall I'd give the edge to (legit) Eye-talian, but you haven't lived until you've had schnitzel in Vienna or weisswurst in Munich.CAA Flagship wrote:OK. You and WTAG are members of the minority.clenz wrote: Bull-------fucking-------shit.

Never been there, but I had family from Germany that would come to Iowa every summer when I was younger and would make "traditional" German meals....dear god I miss them.Grizalltheway wrote:Overall I'd give the edge to (legit) Eye-talian, but you haven't lived until you've had schnitzel in Vienna or weisswurst in Munich.CAA Flagship wrote: OK. I'll give you that Italian food "looks" better, it has nothing on German food for taste, IMO....
A well made dish with spätzle noodles beats out any dish with Italian noodles.
Something like this is damn tough to beat

FWIW, I'm German on both sides...and I can't stand sauerkraut.
I'll take Italian any day of the week over German. I'd like to find some place here in Cali that does old school British fare, though. There are some cool things described in my Napoleonic War novels that I'd like to try. The descriptions I've seen of Spotted Dog sound AMAZING. I've made ship's biscuit, although I could never get it to come out right. Of course, REAL ship's buiscuit came out of a year's-old barrel with weevils to shake out, so I'm not sure I want to go quite THAT far. LOL.

found this on the csi board. NMSU, Idaho, Georgia So. being looked at by the SBC. Why not App St. or Lamar?

GA State and Lamar might do that, but GA So and App are too intelligent to fall for that trap....

And I assume an Idalol invite would be football only. Jesus you really have to be scraping the bottom of the barrel if Idalol is getting their name thrown around.Fresno St. Alum wrote:I must have found some info too early and they took it down.SDHornet wrote: Page not found. Therefore you lie.

After that I'd bring Lamar and NMSU. No need for Imaho unless they go to 12 and one of those 4 back out and Imaho comes in for fb only.

Exactly. This could mean there are some FCS programs that have no interest in the SBC.Fresno St. Alum wrote:You figure App St., Georgia So. go, the end.SDHornet wrote: And I assume an Idalol invite would be football only. Ga Southern is still on the list, why would App St. all of a sudden have a change of heart especially when Ga Southern still seems to want in the SBCSDHornet wrote:Exactly. I dunno. Maybe the SBC didn't/doesn't have an interest in App State. They're dumb if they have no interest in App. Troy is a small market and they are one of their top teams usually. Meanwhile, I read this headline today.

• Expected to join CAA as a full member next fall
• Will pay $300,000 plus undisclosed transition fee to join CAA
• Will pay $600,000 exit fee to Southern Conference
The board is expected to vote to join the Colonial Athletic Association.

Speculation is that Charlie Cobb may have put all his eggs in the C-USA basket and in the process gave the Sunbelt the middle finger.SDHornet wrote:I dunno. Forty schollies, capital and operating increases, etc., can't be funded by a move to the SBC. As a matter of fact, Chuckles and Chancellor Cheerleader never really explained on their *listening tour* how they would pay for anything, other than by using *enhanced ticket revenues and corporate sponsorships*
Edit: I fergit ...
Chancellor Cheerleader also said that the move to FBS would pay for the elimination of student fees associated with football (without explaining how or over what time frame)
To my knowledge, no one has swallowed that KoolAid.
