Sad, even the Philly fans are too fed up to hate.
Worse, I read a quote from one of the Panther's lineman that he thinks they're back.

Lurie and Reid have always aspired to take the passion out of football, and I do believe they've succeeded.

Interesting. During the second half I actually commented on how it still seemed to be full and fans were cheering. Maybe ESPN just did a really good job of selective cameras and mics.
The place filled up late, at usually does, but there were maybe 10K no-shows. The biggest boos of the night came on the 2 wide-open TD's in the 1st qtr like Ivytalk said & then the 3 consecutive off-sides penalties on Carolina's last TD drive. Seriously, I've never at any level seen 3 straight plays of off-sides.
Place was sullen last night, the antithesis of a normal Eagles game. It was nice to see Bryce Brown run all over, when he held onto the ball, and the Eagles actually be more of a run-oriented team. This team has no WR's. DeSean(aka the *ussy) checked himself out in the 1Q after they ran him on a reverse, Maclin had trouble just getting off the jam & then it's Riley Cooper & a rookie, feel bad for Foles.

It was hard to see, and they didn't mention attendance on the broadcast, but from the overhead shot it looked like the upper decks were very sparse. You could even see the eagle head logo that is painted on the seats. I don't remember the Linc ever being so empty for an Eagles game.
At this point I hope they don't go on a winning streak at the end of the year- we need a higher pick, although I am not sure any of the rising crop of QB's will be the answer.
As a Cowboys fan, I'll be scared to death if the Iggles replace Reid with Vermeil....
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
Let's hope not. Will go down as one of the all time busts.
Oh cmon, I agree but there is zero chance he'll be an Eagle next season - zero. $6M for a soft corner that was way overrated on man cover skills? He'll be released for sure. Trent Cole and Cullen Jenkins too.

That may be right about ESPN. People were flat disgusted. Not much loud anti-Andy stuff either. Folks wanted a win, but three key fumbles ripped their hearts out.

Well Washburn broke ranks last week after the Babin release, the whole staff will be gone in less than a month so Andy actually probably did the guy a favor.
On the bright side, Foles & Brown looked good last night. Brandon Graham played well too.

Just read about Washbrun. You're right he needed to go. Andy has made several poor decisions recently in regard to his staff hiring.

Andy's judgement was always perplexing, but in the last three or four years, it's just been bad.
