Didn't GSU win their first Championship in only their third or fourth season after reviving the sport in Statesboro?
They cheated by never passing the ball. Nobody was expecting that shit.

We won our first in 1985, our 2nd year of I-AA eligibility and our 2nd in 1986.

Nice try 93 ( :tothehand: ), but Tracy Ham passed for over 700 yards in those 2 championship games.

Oh yeah. I've seen the video. That was before my time. I was in middle school. :coffee:

NDSU is a bad match-up for both GSU & ODU.
Inside in a dome would be the ideal conditions for the spread offense. I might prefer going on the road vs facing another triple option team.
For what it's worth, NDSU heard a lot of the same stuff about Lehigh being right at home in a dome.

Methinks ODU is just a tad better than Lehigh.

I don't recall commenting on how good 2011 Lehigh is compared to 2012 ODU, but NDSU heard plenty of the "dome is good for our passing attack"-type stuff last year. And their offense didn't work.

Well, we both have to get some triple-option-stoption before we need to get into that.

Nice. I think you just gave Trip some inspiration for his sign today.

I hope he never gets to use it. :)

ODU's stadium is really cool, but damn, that press box looks ancient.

Flaggy explained to me that both sides of the clamshell are historic. They were a stimulus project under FDR. So yes, they are ancient.

It would be considered bad if it was a restroom.

ODU needs a turnover or three. They show no signs of slowing down GSU any other way.
