Going with arch rival of the Packers here. He is running against 8-9 men lines. Both Manning and Brady have options when calling the plays, Peterson has to deal with these stack lines, because that's all the Vikings have. Vikings have gone from 3 wins to 7 and threatening the NFL single season rushing record, while Broncos and Pats are as good as usual.

AP is by far the single most valuable player to any team in the NFL and it's not close.

However, we all know mvp means best player on best team

Brady easily. Not even close, really. The year he's having with all the injuries to the Pats skill position players is crazy.

Pats are still a9 win team without him

Vikings would be lucky to have a win without AP

When will people realize it's the system, not the players. I thought the season with Cassel at the helm would have proven this but apparently not.

The MVP should be AP.

The problem with the argument about how good the Pats are without him is that in the NFL the MVP is usually more or less a Best Player award and is given to a player deemed to have been the best player in the league.

Using that I'd say its down to Brady and Peterson, though Manning will get support based on having missed last season and it makes for a great story. In the end I expect it to be a close vote, possible even with two of Brady, Peterson and Manning sharing the award.

Then the award is mis-named.

Brady is a great QB, and likely top 5 all time. HOWEVER, he is not the most valuable player to his team. They need to to give it to the most valuable player OR change the name to Best Player on a Playoff team award

Peterson needs only 294 more yards to break Eric Dickerson's record...with two games left.

If he gets it, there's no way that he doesn't get the MVP award. He already has Comeback Player of the Year locked up (apologies to Peyton Manning).
MEAC, last one out turn off the lights.

The dude is simply a beast. If they had any kind of a QB and WR threat minus Harvin, this team would be a superbowl favorite.

They need to go shopping next April for another WR to help out Ponder.

As stated before Ponder isn't the problem.
