Megatron breaks Rice's mark!!!!
Inspite of the Lions having a losing record Calvin Johnson breaks a mark that stood since the 95. He will be the first WR to crash the 2,000 barrier for receiving yds!!! Something that Terrell Owens felt could be accomplished.

Of course it could be broken...Goodell has made the physical defensive back an extinct species. Too bad Calvin never had to face one after he left GT. Snoozer of a record if you ask me.

Well it took 17 yrs for this mark to be broken and no one knew Roger Goddell back in the 90s.You have a point everyone is talking about Adrian Peterson and his pursuit of Eric Dickerson's mark but no one has mentioned Johnson's chance at making history.I have always said how HOF DBs would fare in today's climate like Mel Blount and his physical style.I'am listening to the radio WFAN(NY) Mike Francesa has stated that Johnson has only FIVE tds!!!!rkwittem wrote:Of course it could be broken...Goodell has made the physical defensive back an extinct species.
