Can you say possible QB controversy???
I can and I did. I'm guessing Wentz gets the better of McGinnis in 2014, but could ultimately lose his spot to him if he struggles, like how Jose Moehler (the QB before Jensen) lost his spot to Jensen.

That's a still a ways off...

You must know something that others do not what is the secret your not telling??By the way I still think Wentz is the guy all he needs is a few guys with size and deep speed to take advantage of his potential. Thanks for the Wally Pip story lol.

McGinnis is faster and played a higher level of high school football than Wentz. It's really that simple for me (even if they're not secrets). I read some of his scouting reports and I liked what I heard. At risk of pissing off some sensitive Bison fans, I bet McGinnis is the next QB of the Bison. (Unless Wentz lights it up.)

The Tim Tebow of 1-AA football you know his 40 time what about his arm??You said Wentz impressed the coaching staff in spring practice knowing the offense.

I didn't say that about Wentz- I did say that he should if he wants to be the next starting QB. McG's 40 is 4.7. I expect that will improve. Heard that his arm is his money-maker, though. As is the case for Wentz, too. Big difference is experience. DMcG played in a spread in HS, unlike Wentz (I think).

Spread. I thought Century did more under-center stuff but I guess high schools in North Dakota are shifting away from that too. He has a highlight video on youtube. (link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJxiSmlinpM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Wentz has an extra year on McGinnis, but I think McGinnis has the higher ceiling.

you were obsessed with some receiver of ours last year because he was like 6'4. but he did nothing for us. lol. why do you care about our players especially our backups? and there will be no qb controversy. only if jensen were to get injured and wentz came in and did a fantastic job

There will be a fight in 2 years for the job. Again, it will go just like the Jensen-Moehler battle.

Thank you as stated before even though he was a backup if this guy played anywhere else would be a starter with his size.

So is the game finally going to happen? I just can't take all this tension between two parts of the country with absolutely nothing in common.

We outnumbered Sam fans last year and it will be by a bigger margin this year.
