Billick is not a good mix with Philadelphia and their fans. He'd be run out of town with the first losing season.

It of course gives the impression that the Eagles have no idea what to do. Given the fact that it was all but certain Reid would be gone 2-3 months ago you would think they would have made a short list and vetted canidates pretty well by the time interviews started.

Well, some here were opposed to Cowher because he didn't win a Superbowl right away. I expect those folks to rally behind Billick, since the Ravens won it all in just his second season. Clearly, Billick is a mastermind.

Two times Billick has been a mastermind when he had Culpepper, Carter, Moss and R.Smith in Minnesota, and the '00 Ravens defense.

So, on a serious note, what is causing such disinterest in the Eagles? Howie Roseman? Are coaches viewing him as a young punk given too much responsibility by the owner who will prevent them from putting the personnel they want in place?

Perhaps.

Freakin Roseman. A salary cap number and contract guy who couldn't evaluate a FB player if an Andrew Luck pass hit him in the face. The dude never played or coached football, yet he is ultimately responsible for selecting the players. I do not believe that every GM has to be a crusty old scout, but one would think he should have some experience evaluating football players.
