Yeah, Mike Bellotti's teams were chopped liver. Someone already forgot that they were a top-5 team under Joey Harrington....Grizalltheway wrote:Truth be told, +1 on that. The guy did an amazing job and turned a pretty mediocre program into a national powerhouse.uofmman1122 wrote:Welp, shit...
Wouldn't surprise me if he's pulling a Carroll. Might have found out a bunch of NCAA shit is gonna fall on Oregon, or just might, and wants out.
Best of luck to him.

Nope, I actually jumped on the Joey Harrington bandwagon when I was a lad.rkwittem wrote:Yeah, Mike Bellotti's teams were chopped liver. Someone already forgot that they were a top-5 team under Joey Harrington....Grizalltheway wrote:

And I was more referring to the fact that they hadn't won a Rose Bowl since 1917 before Kelly arrived.

Yeah, Kelly's offense was seriously the only thing that made me jump on the Oregon bandwagon. Absolutely loved watching it work.Grizalltheway wrote:Nope, I actually jumped on the Joey Harrington bandwagon when I was a lad.rkwittem wrote: Yeah, Mike Bellotti's teams were chopped liver. I'll certainly give Belotti credit for building the foundation, but I stand by my assertion that Kelly took them to the next level.dbackjon wrote:Grizalltheway wrote:I didn't say he took over a BAD program.
