Well at least I'm happy for John.

Watch Ed Reed retire, and get none of Ray Lewis' hoopla. Twice the player and x1000 the character

Are going to get some good riot videos out of this win?

Ravens defense wasn't the same when Haloti Ngata went down in the 3rd qtr for the rest of the game. Best run stuffing DT in the league.

Was great to see left coast San Fran sicko with their whiny coach and flat brim hat QB lose. :D

Ray Lewis was still decent for an NFL starting LB this past season, but clearly not the LB he was when he won Super Bowl MVP 12 years ago. Heck, not even the same as a few years ago. I only saw him in the playoffs this season, but he clearly lost a step or 2 from the super dominant Ray Lewis of the late 90s-2000s. Couple of time he was in position to make the tackle on Gore but just couldn't do it. At times he just looked a step slow in pass coverage.

Yeah...most players that have played 17 years at mlb would lose about 6 our 7 steps. Still led the nfl in post season takes this year I believe

He definitely lost a step. There's no doubt about that. But, the timing of his announcement that this was his last season, his ability to actually get back on the field after a torn triceps, and the intangible of his leadership in the huddle, on the sideline, and in the locker room was a huge plus for this Super Bowl run. It'll be interesting to see how the Ravens D does without him.
