You can change the logo all you want unless the product on the field changes it will not matter.

Well, looking at this purely from a logo perspective (I don't think anyone believes this change will help on-the-field production) it is an improvement. Supposedly, there is at least one team that will be getting a Seahawks-esque uniform makeover and most think it will be the Jags. If those reports are true, it makes sense to update the logo.

The old is more abstract. If you didn't know what the left one was, there is no way you get it, while the new one is easy. JMHO.

The old one is swallowing a "V" while the new one is swallowing a "U". That is an upgrade of 3.846% (1/26th) since U is only one rung higher than V. I feel like, at a minimum, Q was attainable.
