The offseason has been brutal. I cannot wait until the season starts. COME ON!!!...
SIDE NOTE: The only thing that the EC(b) has is a couple great short tracks that I would like to visit....if I only had any friends

I heard that 93 and Ivy will be organizing a CS.com gathering at Dover, Delaware on June 2nd for the race at the Monster Mile. I'll see you there grizza. Bud Lights are on me.grizzaholic wrote: SIDE NOTE: The only thing that the EC(b) has is a couple great short tracks that I would like to visit....if I only had any friends

This one I'll definitely be at since I work at the hotel. No excuses for me.CAA Flagship wrote:I heard that 93 and Ivy will be organizing a CS.com gathering at Dover, Delaware on June 2nd for the race at the Monster Mile. I'll see you there grizza. I am excited for the Gen 6 chassis car. NASCAR has gone back (a little) toward its roots. Manufacturer aerodynamics will matter again, now that there's not a template across brands. The racing should be more similar to the way it was 10-15 years ago. Cars should grip more with tires rather than relying on downforce. Should open up more passing on the cookie-cutter 1.5 mile tracks. If Daytona practice is any indication, should be tons of gratification for the "I only watch NASCAR for the crashes" crowd at the Superspeedways. Instead of The Big One at Tallega, you'll probably have the Big Two or Three.
I'm a little concerned that NASCAR may be overreaching with some of its bring-back-the-fan initiatives though. I haven't read all the rules about the Busch Clash (I refuse to call it whatever it's changed to most recently) tonight. Apparently there is some fan vote to kick out a driver, like Survivor. WTF?
Now if they'd just get rid of the chase format...
