Gonzaga will always be a mid major on account of the weak conference they belong to, much like Boise St. Football. They will also be labeled overrated/under achievers if they go in as a 1 and get bounced early. The only time they've made it out of the suite 16 was 1999 when the Cinderella slipper still fit.

This reminds me of Big Fluffy smack back when Montana was dominating in football.

While the WCC is a mid-major conference I wouldn't call either GU or Butler mid-major at this point. In their 15 straight appearances, Gonzaga has been to 5 sweet sixteens and has consistently won games in November and December against ranked opponents while always playing one of the nation's most difficult non-conference schedules. And they've had 4 first round NBA picks over that stretch, so they're certainly not recruiting mid-major athletes.
Love me them Zags! The Pride of Spokane! And a damn good college to boot. :notworthy: :thumb:

Sad but true Grizza. As much as you're surrounded by the magnificence of Eagle Athletics when you come to Cheney, the word is just now beginning to spread to Greater Spokane.

That being said, "Pride of Spokane" is a bit excessive. Pride of Spokane would either be this guy:

...or Suction Goat!

Assuming nova wins one game in the Big East Tournament, it will get either an 11 or 10 seed. I can see nova winning that game no matter who it plays. After that, good luck lol. :kisswink:

As of March 11:

There are four (4) teams currently playing FCS football that have booked Dance seats/autobids:

Harvard
James Madison
Liberty
Davidson

Who do you think will be added to their roster?
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

As stated before Southern will have problems as will my alma-mater with defending champ Norfolk St they have height advantage two 7ft'ers on their roster.
