hahaha. They must be gluttons for punishment.
"What I'm saying is: You might have taken care of your wolf problem, but everyone around town is going to think of you as the crazy son of a bitch who bought land mines to get rid of wolves."
I don't see the problem. Pretty low risk deal. Three years in name only. Essentially a one year deal which gives the Eagles time to find their QB of the future. Vick was due to make $15.5M in 2013; the new deal is for a max $10M if every incentive were hit.
Well at least you have another year use to get out of you Vick jersey 93. Or have you wholly converted to the Ravens Nation? Do you walk around base humming Seven Nation Army?
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

No Vick jersey for me. I do have a replica Flacco Ravens jersey that my sister bought me four years ago for Christmas, but I'm not much of a jersey wearer. And like I said in the other thread, I'm a Flacco fan. I'm only a Ravens fan insofar as I like seeing Flacco do well with them. I sort of have to root for the receivers to catch the ball and the defense to hold the other team to less points and all for Flacco to succeed like he has. The second Flacco ever played for a different team (except the Cowboys, Skins, or Giants) I'd have no use for the Ravens and would pull for Flacco's new team to do well.

One of the all-time great busts in Philly, and we have a long, proud history of them.

Maybe this year's winner of the Shawn Bradley Award!

Don't tell this to SE.
It really bends his bill.
Why would it? 93 isn't saying Baltimore is his team; he's a fan of Flacco. I'm a fan of Tawain Jones, but I couldn't give a shit less what happens with the Raiders. In fact I hate the Raiders, and hope they lose every game, but TJ does well or gets traded.
I read today that the Eagles will discontinue training camp at Lehigh.
That sort of sucks. Lehigh was a great setting for training camp. My favorite was 2004 and all the excitement surrounding the debut of TO (before he imploded the following offseason).
The Birds will now hold camp at their Novacare complex near Lincoln Financial. There's an agreement with the surrounding neighborhood that no fans can attend events there, so many practices will essentially be closed. They say they'll have a few open practices at Lincoln Financial Field, but it just won't be as fun as the hike up the NE Extentension to Bethlehem.
You gotta figure it's gonna be hotter than balls practicing in South Philly in July. Hell, the Lehigh Valley got hot enough in the afternoons, and that's at elevation and outside the urban heat island. Combine that with Chip's 100 mph offense and... yikes.

Cardinals are doing the same - abandoning training camp at NAU where they have been for 25 years, to hold it indoors in Glendale. Dumb
