[6] Delaware

So, how can you be #15 in both polls and get a 6 seed?

I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Albany upset North Carolina.

27-3 (16-0 in America East play).

A #14 has never beaten a #3, though.

A couple years ago I picked the favorite in every game in the women's bracket on ESPN and I was in the top 2% of scores. Not a whole lot of suspense on the women's side. :|

Nope. That's typically the way it goes, especially over the last decade or so.

Yeah… when the #1 lost their two best players to injury just before the tournament.

UConn annihilates Idaho 105-37

This should really be a 32 team field at most...the talent disparity in WNCAAB is very low.
MEAC, last one out turn off the lights.

All three FCS teams who played today lost (Marist 55-47, SDSU 74-52, Chattanooga 73-59), and a fourth one will be joining them soon.

DSUrocks07 - I agree with you, but the WNIT has too many teams I believe.
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

Nah. There has to be a good incentive to win your conference. As appealing as creating an FCS for women's basketball might look, no-one cares at all about the WNIT.

And the humiliating massacre is something unique to UConn, too. They either lose close or win in a blowout, and virtually nothing in between (even against other top-flight teams).

Yes Harvard pulled the trick in the late 90s at the expense of Stanford.

fify...I'm sure that if Gonzaga or Kansas had lost two of their top players the week of the tournament they would have been upset this year too.

At 6-6, she should be playing QB...and she probably would have started in front of Heinicke.

Why do you say that? The best historical QB heights have been 6'2"-6'4". The last guy I remember at 6'6" in the NFL was Dan McGwire, and he absolutely stunk the joint up....
